maria_di_liegro 0 Posted December 14, 2010 Ton, I like the line, flow and light here. BTW, I also like your new profile photo! Link to comment
human images 4 Posted December 15, 2010 ditto to everything Maria says – light, flow, light – absolutely right on!I also share her enthusiasm on the new profile picture. You looking swell my man – the impeccable threads, the self-assured knowing smile, but most of all the amazingly stylish hairdo, all tell the story of a confident man about town. I certainly feel welcome! Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted December 19, 2010 Photography is a strange thing; that partly torn paper hanging at right somehow adds the necessary tension and adds some significant balance to the overall tonal distribution...And yes, I truly loved your boyhood picture :) Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted December 24, 2010 I echo the astute comments which came before mine and would add that the tonality is as usual amazing. Such a stunning array of tones and textures all captured and rendered with detail and definition.... and yes the entire composition seems to hang upon that one piece of tattered poster catching the light. x_wang 0 Posted January 13, 2011 I really like this image. It could be two nice photos here,if I cropped the top and bottom a bit:-)Jasmine Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted January 22, 2011 thanks Maria. Great to hear from you, it's been quite a while. thanks Carlos. Know you're always welcome. you're right Bulent. Photography is a strange thing indeed. I guess that's one of the reasons we love it so much. thanks Gordon. A bit surreal isn't it, the effect it has I mean. thanks Jasmine. Also for your suggestion although I have to say that I wouldn't want to lose the top op the building in the background nor the door at the right. Given that a crop seems not to bring much. jeff.grant 0 Posted January 26, 2011 I'm late to the party. This image really gets me, beautifully composed and processed, with the serendipitous paper in just the right place. Link to comment
