alfbailey 4 Posted November 27, 2010 You are right, large really is better! The thumbnail just doesn't do any kind of justice to this image. The bending lights are almost like an artificially produced Aorora Borealis, and the details are superb throughout. I might have been tempted to take the shot slightly higher, to get more of the light arc in the shot and also give some space above the central column, but then of course you may have done that already and this is just one of the images you took. Great pano shot!Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
tibig 0 Posted November 27, 2010 Hi Alf,Thanks for your comment. Indeed a bit of more height would have been needed for this shot. I have to confess that I have no way to add it now, it would have required to shoot a 2 row (matrix) panorama (as I held the camera in vertical position and it was at it's widest setting that is equivalent to 35 mm).Regards, Tibi Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted November 27, 2010 Tibi... The bending light almost looks like water cannons shooting across. An excellent night scene... Mike Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted December 6, 2010 Where are you? again in china?...(next time I go with you;-)) beautiful semi round light, It has a great dynamics, and nicely framing the cityscape. Pity that you have "cut' the full round ark. still it is a very nice composition. Has to be seen large! חג חנוכה שמח,למרות אסון הכרמל שקלקל לנו את מצב הרוח Link to comment
tibig 0 Posted December 17, 2010 Hi Pnina,Sorry it took some time to get here again. Indeed I was again for 2 weeks in China. You could come too next time I go, but beware: the main purpose is work, so I will tend to be in factories most of the time... Link to comment
