Very nice composition, the sharpness is outstanding, each detail can be appreciated. You have achived to give a vintage touch. I love the colour tone, all elements combine perfectly. I love the pocket watch open it adds an interesting attraction, so, I have trying to know the time.

Congrats for this cute picture 7

Hello Matt. I have only recently become a member, however I've been registered for a while. I see your postings in the forums all the time. Finally decided to take a look at some of your work, this folder in particular is great. Like the subject matter, arrangement and great lighting. Nicely done.

Very good!  Colors are perfect!  It appears there is some wispy smoke? in the background.  Just a bit distracting.  I wonder how this one would look with a little more of the dark foreground cropped out?

I like the photo a lot.  When I think "cowboy", this definitely springs to mind.

Matt, you are such a master that I can't imagine why you're not consumed with so many professional accounts (ad shots in Vanity Fair, et al) that you don't have time to remain such a fixture on photo.net. Here, the extraordinarily warm tones and the lighting over an evocative still-life arrangement place the photo among your many masterpieces.

I am a mere Novice, and to imagine I could ever acquire the skills to  compose such a 'Masterpiece' is almost beyond my comprehension, but I must say, you certainly  Inspire me.  I hope to visit often during 2011, perhaps I'll learn by observation, yet I would be content in just marvelling at your skill and craftmenship.  Respectfully, Gail

Wow, Matt, this is fun to view. What wonderful details and light use. You've got quite a collection here. I feel nostalgic, is that your point? It sure is mine.
