Harry a great image of decay. I love the tight color palette and the details in the rotting fruit and wilted flowers. The textured background is great. The cut crystal glass adds a nice contrast to the other elements.

How soon it all decays...eh Harry. Brilliant idea for a shot and so well produced by you. Not overly saturated but just enough to fit the scene. The glass of water is a nice touch...hope it isn't infected with cholera, which would match the scene:-)).......Regards

Great idea Harry and not really your usual posting. I like to see folks step out of their comfort zone ... it is what makes us better. This is a sad looking group yet still appealing...if that makes sense. It is nice that you kept the colors more natural and the wood table adds to the different textures. Nice lighting and set up too. My compliments

Nice to see your photos appearing again, Harry. It's the kind of photo that points beyond itself and has one asking: Who is the forgetful one? The lighting and texture bring out very well the paradox of beauty in decay. 

This is very different from you. I applaude your spirit of adventure. The image works for me in a very seasonal way, it echo's the autumnal colours and sequential wind fall harvests, it speaks of natures cycle of decay and indicates tthe passage of time. Very well done from a techincal viewpoint and excellent from an original, thought provoking stance too.

Instead of sneaking in a day or two later to rate a excellent photo with a 3 or 4 why don't you study the photo,you might learn something and become a better photographer,or carry on shooting ducks in the park.
