fpessolano 0 Posted November 13, 2010 Very well composed and executed. I just wonder if the difference in color in the tunic of the two little monks is real or due to processing. The one on the right has a rather unrealistic one ... Link to comment
wedeko 0 Posted November 13, 2010 Thanks everyone for your comment :)@Francesco: the colors are real, you got orange and red, I've even seen a bright red monks cloth and a brown one. Lady monks are wearing pink cloths. Link to comment

alfbailey 3 Posted November 15, 2010 I find those timber portals with the surrounding saw edge design fascinating, the fact that you managed to get such a clear photo of the young novices is a great bonus. I find the presence of the two young men in one of the portals and the absence of life in the other, strangely symbolic, in fact it's great thought provoking image as well as an aesthetically pleasing one. suffice to say, I like it.Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
JimCowan 0 Posted November 16, 2010 This is an image with fascinating details, warm tones and strong contrasts. All of this has helped to produce an exceptional image with lots of viewer interest. Your composition appears well balanced, even with the two young monks on the right side of the frame. Very nicely done!Jim Link to comment
sadeghmiri 1 Posted November 29, 2010 I have seen a lot of pictures of this monastery but this is the best because of composition and beautiful tones and also perfect details! Bravo and another 7! B/R Sadegh Link to comment
annemarie 0 Posted December 8, 2010 Wendy, have you ever tried entering international exhibitions? If not, maybe you should try it.... I am sure this picture (and many others in your portfolio) would stand a good chance of winning gold. It's just perfect. Gr. Annemarie Link to comment
