I would have positoned the child to the left side of the door frame and cropped out the excess around the door frame.  Also the child's face is over exposed.

The children siting in the  natural  position in the frame as  all of  us  would do. In the  middle.  I wouldn't  force  the  composition, just to get  the 1/3  etc., idea  to the image composition. Maybe,  the left wall, half of  it  can goo  and   so, the composition is better. The image  is  slightly over   exposed, or  it same  so in my monitor.  IMHO.  I like  the image, witch is almost perfect.

What a fun image to work with.  I wonder if there is a bit more image so that a vertical shot might work.
