The shot was taken very late afternoon at Delphi.Taken in mid-October

all the visitors were gone and i was able to capture the last light

hitting Tholos (the domed temple devoted to the goddes Athena

Pronea).this is a very mild HDR just to brink out the detail in the

sky.Rating and feel free to comment,Thanks

This is a great example of what I was talking about in my response to your last comment on my image "The lady Chapel" regarding HDR images. Firstly you have chosen a subject that responds well to HDR , and secondly  you have used the tonemapping with finesse and subtlety. The lighting is superb here, and the beauty of HDR is the background detail is still visible, where in most cases in a normally processed image, this would be lost. The only small thing I would consider changing, is to crop out the stone block on the far lower right,  you may have to compensate by cropping a small portion from the left margin too, in order to place the main subject directly into the "thirds" area.  But these are just my rambling thoughts, the image looks great as it is. This definately falls into the category of "Good HDR"

Best Regards

Alf

Harry, The light in this is stunning and gives it a kind of mysterious feel. Beautifully detailed, particularly in the area of the columns.

wonderful Harry a 7 from me, a beautiful scene with lovely light, as above you might want to lose the block bottom left but hey thats a nitpick.

Awesome atmosphere created by mystique structures and low, warm evening light. Excellent treatment using HDR rendered the image to look naturally looking. Composition is excellent in my opinion. I examined the effect of the lower right bottom stone after erading the above comment, but I cannot say that it really bothers me much since it is dark and doesn't draw much attention. Congratulations for a splendid image. Excellent!!! best regards . . .John

Its one the best subtly managed HDR shots ive seen before. Very effectine light, rich pleasing shadows, color balance and also flawless composition. I only suggest slight sharpness, applying selectively. My best regards.

The HDR is so gentle here that it enhances the scene without being in any way excessive. It's the kind of photo that could grace any book on ancient Greece, I think. With the nice golden patina on the ruins, it strikes a perfect note of antiquity.

Excellent compo, wonderful lights. Impressive shot of this world-famous spot. The very right moment, I think (visitors had already left as you mentioned, which was important IMO). - Did you get your personal prophecy? ;-) BR / Volker
