Tony suggested that I darken a tad. I might have taken it to the extreme.

Let me know what you think. The other one is in my portfolio. Thank

you for your time. Gail

I visit the last version too, and i prefer this darkened version. Its great capture with nice details, composition and colors. Just one suggestion: You can selectively darken or lighten the subject , without applying this changes to unnecessary parts of the picture, and also you can selectively apply slight blurring at the B/G in this capture. These are just suggestions, if you dont mind. My best regards.

Hamid.

Excellent!. I'm not an expert in wildlife photography but my eyes present me with a stupendous image of a bird when I see this imagae. Focusing is spot on, on the eyes and great detail around the head.  Background is perfectly blurred with a pleasant green. Framing is just right  with the amount of space needed. Congratulations for a well captured and presented birdlife photot. Best wishes  . . .  John

Very lovely capture. It is sharp at the head with bright eye and sharp bill. I superbly sharp at the body revealing details of its feathers and its color Diagonal perch is a nice touch. BG is enhancing. Tail is soft for the shallow DOF. This is a great picture and you should be happy. Regards, ifti

I think it's all pretty much been said, but at risk of being repetitious : - Great sharpness, composition, dof and colour saturation. Superb shot and much deserved accolades! Wel done Gail!

Kind Regards

Gail, Beautifully done. Such great detail, particularly around the eye and beak. The background works very nicely.

I was in the garden trying to get the hummers when I saw him jump out of the flowers.  I did have my tripod set up which helped with the details.  Thank you for taking time out to comment and kind words.  Gail
