Thankfully I haven't got ALL of my hair, it was almost waist length back then and with it's current trend to start turning grey, I'd soon be getting re-named GandALF.......come to think of it there was a band called Wizard too.

: - )

Cheers Gail

Many thanks for dropping by Alf.  Ahhh what a waste! You could pass off as one of those 'psuedo, villager, artistic, ones that crops up every so often. You'd have a little 'eclectic' studio in a 'yupee village' that all the 'city folk ' would visit and flock to see your images....who knows, the Queen may even 'knight' you.....wouldn't that be grande, "Sir Alf' sounds much better than 'gand Alf'.............cheeers Alf, thanks for dropping by, Sincerely, Gail(Ps  you and Elton could hang together'.....'Artistic Knihthood'.....LoL....Gail

This is a wonderful creation - it sure does not 'string' me along, instead it transports me to visual delight. In summary no dischordant notes from me.

Many thaks Tony for that critique.  Glad you found merit in it.  Was enjoyable to work on, a bit challenging as it was an outdoor concert, but managed not too badly.  With much appreciation, Gail

Gail, Memorable in a good way.  Through light and color, you've captured and brought out raw excitement that ricochets within the frame like electrical currents.  He looks between rock & roll and a bit folky with that crazy hair and the lyrical guitar.  I like the texture of his hair -- sweaty, knotty, free - wiry purple lights.  The green of the guitar, the light strip of blue of his jeans, the purple defining his left bicept -- it's very beautiful.  I don't know if it matters the guitar head is left out -- in any event, it's not what jumps out.  The impression is positive flow of energy.  Regards

Many thanks for that very descriptive critique.  I'm going to add it to my journal.  Excellent description of which I am most grateful.  Does my heart good to hear such words of critique.  Sincere thanks and warm regards for your visit and support.  Gail

Gail,

Dunno how I missed this one, and the only reason I found it was because the group had the amplifier cranked up so high!! I couldn't miss it this time!! Wonderful portrait with great colors and lighting! Terrific processing. You should offer this one up to the band for a publicity photo. They'd be nuts not to take it!!! Bravo!

Thanks Warren for visiting and enjoying this shot.  It turned out quite well, to my surprise, and have thought of sending Sass a few of the shots.  I've been a fan since the OMG....80's....!!  This guitarist did some magic riffs on his 'electric'....and his solos were fantastic.  As well, he was very photogenic...kind of reminds me a bit of my 'old days'...My appreciation for your kind critique and words of encouragement....you're a great friend and support...sincerely, Gail

What a great concert shot.  This looks like an excellent poster.  I hope you sold it to the guy.
