Isn't this stuff great?  Cars make such good subject matter, and can you imagine what the archeologists will think when they find these objects all arranged in patterns ten thousand years from now?  They'll probably think it was a religious thing. Come to think of it, cars in our culture are religious.  lol

And they worship the oil god.  The neatly arranged pattern of the cars gives them a museum quality display.  The green grass provides a great contrast and yes, presentation is everything as you said.

art in the fields...the light from above goes very well for this image allowing an even illimunation and still some volume feel with the shadow on the car surface...

The beast looks like cows grazing...

Great shot! Makes me think of my grandsons, who always play the "slug bug tag you" game we play when riding somewhere in the car. Your kids ever play that?

Thank you all for stopping. Jeanne, we brought along a friend of the girls (a 16 yr-old). She likes to play "punch buggy", and she hits hard. I had to lay down the law before we left that there would be no hitting on this trip. Since we were taking her along to the Grand Canyon, she got over it.

My favorite of the lot, Linda. The whimsical composition makes it a wall hanger. All it needs to make perfection is a yellow daisy!

Don't know how I missed this one. I really like the pov. Well done.

That "slug bug" thing goes way back---- even when my sons were in middle school (15 years ago!) the punching was going on.~~~~~L
