This was my first ever use of my Alien Bees flash units done in my living

room. I used a large Octagon as main, a brolly box as fill and a barn

door to light the background on the white background images. I have a

portfolio of nine pics. I would love to hear constructive criticism good or

bad on the whole portfolio. Thank you so much for looking.

Nice work, especially for your first try! I would like a catchlight in her eyes, but otherwise, the tones are good.   I love my Bees!!  :)

Thank you Kim, this just happened to be one in a bunch of snapshots, no time or thought , unfortunately, to add a lower light or reflector. I appreciate the idea, I will have to keep that in mind.

The lighting is very good. Although a catch light is nice, because of the detail in the eyes, you still have a "live" look without it.

Most important you have captured wonderful expressions in all you your images of this young lady.

Congratulatons on a very, very nice portfolio.

Are you using a 70-200mm lens? F/2.8? F/4? Something else?
