jeffl7 0 Posted April 14, 2010 This almost has a collaged look to it, each portion individually interesting, but discovered together, this is symphonic. Link to comment

ryourth 0 Posted December 14, 2012 Hi Alf - Really admire this image,of course Red is the centre of attention, with the stance of all male animals, head held high, a look of calmness but ready for any intrusion into his territory, except for any pretty mare. Anyway, back to your image. The colours & lighting create a very natural looking scene , you almost feel you could reach out & rub Red's nose.Alf, this is really a wonderful capture, Well Done. We have been hiking in England twice, in Derbyshire (?) & Cornwall, always regretted not making it up into your territory, you are blessed with a wonderful landscape. Best Regards--Ross Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted December 14, 2012 Humble apologies for such a late response to your thoughtful comments!I just didn't see it before, but thank you all the same!Best Regards Alf ROSS This was a shot I took with a Nikon prime lens 50 mm F1.4 hand held. The sharpness was amazing and colour resolution etc. If you ever make it back to these shores Ross I will show you some of North Wales and maybe the Lake District. And if you have even more time a trip to Scotland should not be missed either. The location for this shot is Llandwyn Island, one of my favourite haunts on the Isle of Anglesey.Glad you like this one Ross, its one of my favourites too. Sincere Thanks & Best Regards Alf Link to comment
ryourth 0 Posted December 16, 2012 Hi Alf- Can't help it, had to revisit Old Red, love this image.Clicking to enlarge the image , the result was a large black frame Making you think you are looking out & seeing Big Red right in front of you, the realism is extraordinary.Just wanted to let Big Red know I was back for another visit. We had a nice chat although he is very quiet.Best Regards-Ross Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted December 16, 2012 I only uploaded this one in a smaller size, it was back when I didn't realise larger images could be uploaded. This is one of those shots that just come together with all the elements in the right place. I'm really pleased you liked it and found your chat with Red informative : - )Many Thanks Ross Alf Link to comment
