For openers, I was so taken by this photograph that I immediately stashed a copy in my "favorites" folder. And, for whatever it's worth, I rated it 7/7, although it deserves much more.

 

The photograph strongly resembles a pointillistic painting. The soft color tones and detail really draw the viewer in. And the perspective works very well.

Michael....Thanks for the comments. Its not the pointillism of Seurat, but it sure does have that feeling. This one I like so much I might actually make a hard print of it and hang it! Thanks again for the remarks!

Warren, in general I think you pick appropriate effects to apply to your images.  This is no exception.  It adds to the feeling of the 'storm' and enhances the photo.  Nicely done!
