I think this is a great shot, street scenes are easilly overlooked as being common, but in actual fact I know from personal experience just how difficult it is to get a good street shot, this one has a lot going on and makes for interesting viewing, in addition I think your PP work adds another dimension to the image that is quite attractive.

A wonderful street scene, filled with interesting characters and bustling activity. But it's your treatment of it that makes it sing.....I really love it. What special effect did you use for this, if you don't mind my asking?

After the usual stuff to smooth up a photo (sharpness, saturation, etc) I usually work in the artisitc menu (elements 7) with brush strokes and choices like "dry brush", "watercolor" "paint daubs" etc. I usually picture in my mind what I want the end result to look like and then it is often trial and error, using many of these techniques in combination until I get what I want. Many times, I never get there while other times something appears on the screen that is actually better than what I imagined.

Sounds complicated and intricate.......also sounds like I have much to learn about editing. Thanks, and bravo on this creation!

Thanks for the nice comments! Gail...its the frustrated (paint) artist in me that drives me to this type of processing. Not for everyone's taste I understand, but I love doing it!!
