vancouverphotographer 1 Posted February 3, 2010 I was going to try to get some sunset shots as a day in the park was winding down - saw these bikes there and right away thought about riding off into the sunset ... thanks for your feedback. Link to comment
isabellathompson 0 Posted February 3, 2010 Very well composed. This shot appeals to me as a bike rider and It looks like a great place to pedal off into! You've done well to retain the detail in this image despite the fading light. Great shot and cheers from Australia. Isabella. Link to comment
alfbailey 4 Posted February 4, 2010 Not a bad idea! The image promotes a real sense of adventure and freedom that I really like, the sky could be made a bit more dramatic with use of a ND graduated filter, or a PP filter effect, but the composition and the concept are great! Nice work Dale! Kind Regards Alf Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted February 4, 2010 Hey Isabella, thanks a lot for that .... yes there are a lot of bike routes in Vancouver, I don't bike but I was just walking around this sleepy town near Vancouver and there were definitely a look of bikers there. Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted February 4, 2010 Alf, thanks a lot for the affirmation - you know I had a regular ND filter in my bag but I guess that would not have done much really - I wanted to buy the graduated one as well, I'll try to buy that for the summer of shooting - that would as you mentioned would have helped my with this shot for sure.
