rajeevthomas 1 Posted January 21, 2010 Les... simple but very beautiful.... it takes vision to envision flowers in black and white but you have done it very well... regards, Rajeev. Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted January 24, 2010 I like it. It works for me. Would like to see this in color as well. It doesn't look black and white, eh maybe its me. In anycase well done. Holger Link to comment

deb1 0 Posted January 25, 2010 This is a lovely image! It seems as if it's a girl covering her lips as she giggles! Wonderful capture Les! deb Link to comment
JimCowan 0 Posted January 26, 2010 Smaller aperture! No, I think you have this just right, the lighter foreground petals really stand out from the darker background petals. I like your 'Black Dahlia', nicely done. Jim Link to comment

elportebonheur 0 Posted January 29, 2010 Double underline Jim's comment. Fantastic use of light with dof just right. And: black and white is color enough. Compliments, very impressive and elegant work. Link to comment

hbkotze 0 Posted February 11, 2010 A great photo, nice and crisp in the centre. Thanks for the comment on Serenity. It was a crisp winter morning when I took the shot and the sun absolutely fabulous. Link to comment

alfbailey 4 Posted February 23, 2010 This image has exceptional clarity, it really jumps out of the frame, a wonderful range of b&w tones and the small curled petal really anchors the shot, Debs comment "like a girl covering her lips as she giggles" was a great interpretation, my own is that .....it's covering its mouth to cough and announce it's arrival!Very nice work Les!
