I see some of my friends (Marjolein, Jack, and Carlos) have been here long before me.  I just stumbled across this image displayed on the PNet home page (across the top) and was intrigued.

The more I look, the more I see.  There is, as has been said, the wonderful tones, and the imaginative use of reflection.  There is also the interesting contrast of the back of the statue at left, and the back of the live woman at right.  Opposites, yet counterparts, of each other other, balancing each side. It is also interesting the way the diamonds of the paving stones not covered in water, give way to the reflection of the fully covered stones.  Like an ancient mural, part of which has fragmented away.  The lower part of the woman can still be made out at the lower right.  A fascinating image.

... Bellissima. Marvellous photo.

I love how it plays with the expected and makes it unexpected, and the other way around - it plays with the senses in a very nice refreshing way.

Come si dice - trenta con lode?
