sjmurray 33,634 Posted November 30, 2009 Tiger's elderly owner, who lived across the street from us, passed away this summer. Her grown children locked up the house and left Tiger "out it the cold," to fend for himself with no source of food or water. Along with feeding him, we build him a plywood box for him to sleep in, with blankets inside and a white plastic trash bag to cover it up and protect against the wind and rain, and set it in a wicker chair on our front porch. He is sitting on top of this box here. He now sleeps indoors with our next door neighbors and has a loving home. We couldn't take him in ourselves because we already have 4 cats and a dog. He still spends a lot of time sitting on our porch. Link to comment

mbh 0 Posted December 14, 2009 Beautiful portrait and a lovely bittersweet story to go along with it. I'm glad he ended up in a loving home. Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted May 13, 2010 Wonderful photo of this beautiful cat; he looks a little annoyed or sad, but after reading the story I can understand why. I am always amazed to see how cruel some people can be but my heart is warmed knowing the outcome of his story and that he now, once again, has someone to love him. Thank you for sharing. :) Please give Tiger a kiss for me! :) Link to comment
