life in the fast lane

One of a set of images that seeks to document my life history. A self portrait on a

30 second exposure fired by remote with cam on bonnet of a 1959 Pontiac Le Mans.

Two parasol lights on stands coloured with gels, either side of the car to give a

feeling of speed, (but we were being pushed slowly of course). There is a SB 800

flash inside of the car which I triggered by hand, wrapped in a white plastic bag to

prevent glare. Minimal photo-shopping, only to the skin, nothing more
