samrat 1 Posted August 24, 2009 Absolutely brilliant...the expression that has been captured here. Conventionally, it would have been a bit clearer on the foreground and a bit blurred background. But even in this way, the effect stands out. The composition is first rate and your creativity has extended to the title of the photo. Superb work. Link to comment

jtipton 0 Posted August 25, 2009 Great piece of composition Sonali. The soft focus foreground and the sharp focus background coupled with the opposing expressions make this a very good picture. Well done. Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted August 25, 2009 Excellent capture, Sonali. Looks like a movie scene. Both expressions are great and the atmosphere is unique. Very good shot! Congrats! Link to comment

spectacle 0 Posted August 25, 2009 one of the best of your portfolio.to me one of the best of today's portrait section,even.Regards.tricky confusion...who is the protagonist?refreshing illuminated smile,canted- over the shoulder frame, disparity btn facial expressions, evrythng leading to a story excellently,... right corner a bit off?may it adding more dramatic element, my problem is, I can't place the camera position and the perspective ratio, but that really little bothers the image, very nice crop. amalsircar 2 Posted August 25, 2009 Sonali, this is simply great. I did not know you have worked with Fellini and/or Truffaut. I agree with Amitava. Sonali's magnum opus. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted August 25, 2009 Beautiful work. Moody and atmospheric with a clear "signature" by the photographer. Boldly composed to make the angles work and the lighting, especially on his shoulder, enhances that sense of line. (I find the two thin lines in your border intruding a bit on the organic feel of the photo.) Link to comment
frontado 0 Posted August 26, 2009 Hola Sonali: Interesting contrast between the expressions of the faces. Saludos. Link to comment
Alex 0 Posted August 26, 2009 Que buena image, Me gusta mucho el contraste de las dos personas uno sonriente y el otro como inquisitivo. Felicidades Link to comment
