Wayne Sadler 579 Posted July 24, 2009 The flower cutting was a gift. Perhaps the name stargazer motivates my perception of a sultry background. I would appreciate any comments and critique. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted July 24, 2009 I find that in the world of 'georgeous blossoms' there is a certain degree of 'sensousness'....perhaps its in 'personal interpretaion'....but many flowers remind me of the delicate feminine nature of a 'woman's body'. I mean this in the 'purest sense'. And when one loves these flowers, especially in Macro.....you develop an 'intimacy'....and it is such a shame when the 'bloom' fades. I suppose it is much like a 'woman' --- depending on who she is with.....'we have our day in the sun'....and then twilight approaches, and we see our once 'supple' petals begin to slowly shrivel...perhpas due to 'hormones'....medical conditions, but I think the worst would be 'lack of attention'......just like these beautiful blossoms....we need to be 'tended to'...and have someone let us know that even as we age....we are still 'beautiful in their eyes'..........what a difference a kind word or gesture makes.....in the way we 'view' ourselves. Wonderufl images....and very 'special attention and care' you've taken to convey their 'inner beauty'.........you have a wonderful 'knack' of seeing 'beyond' the fact that it is just a 'pretty flower'....congrats....Gail Link to comment
sonneland 0 Posted July 27, 2009 Wayne I think what would really finish this image off would be a bit of late afternoon sun from behind. It would just come alive. Still nice work, well done ! Link to comment
