setsail728 15 Posted May 20, 2009 I couldn't resist this one. The statue is of the immortal Franz Liszt at the Budapest Opera House. As I walked up to the building it looked as if he was gazing down at the two girls sitting on the steps. Link to comment

elportebonheur 0 Posted May 21, 2009 Well done, Warren, you gave a quite modern touch to the opera house. Interesting! Compliments, El Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted May 21, 2009 Are you sure that it isn't Liszt watching the women??!! Very creative treatment! The two women help to balance a sense of grandiosity I would expect by looking at the scene without them. BTW, have you thought about doing a B&W version? Might be interesting . . . michael Link to comment
setsail728 15 Posted May 21, 2009 Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Michael, here is the B&W version! Link to comment
soniam 6 Posted May 21, 2009 What a fabulous image! I really really like the B&W version. Superb composition with the statue so prominent but with the girls re-directing the focus so that the whole frame is used. Perfect perfect composition Link to comment
setsail728 15 Posted May 22, 2009 Thanks Sonia for the comments. The more I look at the B&W version the more I prefer it to color edition....although I like them both!! Link to comment
