heider 0 Posted May 14, 2009 I wish for those who rated this photo with 4 and less to leave a harsh critique so i can learn something next time. is it because of the composition?, the tonal quality?, the subject? expressions? PP work? or anything that you don't like? I hope i can learn something from your critiques. Regards Link to comment

blue-olympus 0 Posted May 14, 2009 Excellent scene and what an unusual viewpoint. Besides being a social comment this shot tells a story in a most dramatic way...Very well done and Regards Link to comment
sue_foll1 0 Posted May 14, 2009 I wish the hand and cup could be moved 6 inches to the left, so that they don't overlap the lady's legs. Otherwise, perfect Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted May 14, 2009 This photograph is a very powerful statement, perfectly composed and balanced. The lady in front of the 'begging bowl' with her hands hidden in her sleeves has a remarkable expression on her face, giving added strength to the image. An outstanding work of perspicience. mazevedo 0 Posted May 14, 2009 You are absolutely right regarding those almost semi-automatically lower ratings that appear almost instantaneously on images submitted to rating. Seems that there are people that do not have any opinion formed but persists in demonstrating that they don't like either. BR, --MAA Link to comment

Anabela Sequeira 0 Posted May 15, 2009 Very deep image and very accurate statement. Hayder, I have to say, that we, the human beings of the whole globe, are doing enough to increase inequality. Actually, who cares about poverty!? Very well done. Best regards. Link to comment
dandem 1 Posted May 15, 2009 Awesome image, Hayder. It portrays a very strong message. Amazing how we complain when we don't have it all...but there are so many who have nothing. Awesome work, my friend. Regards, Lawrence. Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted May 16, 2009 Hayder, it is a sad reality, and the right title. I appreciate the way you have cropped, and composed it , without revealing his face. I don't use the rating system anymore ( for rating) but I think that this kind of scenes are beyond rating, Too hard a human situation, good execution in B/W. Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted August 10, 2009 Your title is the absolute truth. . . . Democracy, . . freedom, and all the other, just a b.s. . . . Excellent work. I wonder, what kinda technic do you using for this strong graphic effect. Cheers; Bela Link to comment
