amalsircar 2 Posted April 27, 2009 Pnina, a symbolic abstract. No body will dare to use or copy your image.He/she will will be caught red-handed:-)Your creative work is your hallmark.I feel those spots on the background are bit distracting. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted April 27, 2009 From the thumbnail, it looked like fire and now I see it is a picture of dancers aflame with the dance. By the way, your signature is nicely placed as counterpoint. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted April 27, 2009 The source seem to be Fire, burned with hot sensation & feeling, like what the dancers are trying to convey. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 27, 2009 To all of you. I very much appreciate your written impressions. Jim, I wrote to you. I hope you feel better now. Amal, many of my works were taken out from PN.... without asking, This signature will not prevent it though , but still. I have enlarged the photo but did not see any spots that you saw in it ;-))? amalsircar 2 Posted April 28, 2009 Pnina, sorry to now about stealing of your imagesRight in front of the leading dancer, there are some traces of light. I may be wrong. Link to comment
belenalvarez 0 Posted April 28, 2009 At first sight I thought they were fire flames.... Really stunning image Pnina. You dominate the art of dancers...... Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted April 28, 2009 A living candle! An exemplification of the saying, "A candle does lose any light by helping to light another candle." I love how the light flows upwards, like the light of Shabbat candles flowing up to G-d. This photograph really nailed me to the wall. I really cannot describe the extent to which I am taken by its beauty. Thanks for such a profound gift. Shalom, michael Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted May 1, 2009 A strong image where you have captured the energy of both light and movement. I like that you've maintained a hint of depth and detail in the background which, I think, draws me in more as a viewer. There does seem to be a sense in which the dancers are mimicking flames and you've handled the hot light extremely well so it is very effective, rich, and visually moving. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 2, 2009 I'm glad you have connected to the energy and light it radiates. Thanks as well for writing your detailed impression, for telling me that it moved you, as it lets me know the connection( feeling) was made. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted May 2, 2009 I always thought it was an urban myth, but you've provided photographic proof. I suppose each of us has a fire within longing to burst forth in flames if given an appropriate stage. Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted May 2, 2009 Pnina, very interesting sinuous movement here. The figures look like spirits or vapor, especially because of the color, and the use of negative space is very effective. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 3, 2009 Thanks both of you. Life is an appropriate " stage" imo ...I think that the theater stage , and my search ,are bringing it ( the stage life ) back to earth and human life.... ;-)) For me both are very much connected, even though dance is an abstract movement in space. BelaMolnar 2 Posted December 16, 2012 I'm glad to see your work too. This image is worth for a canvas. The movement, dance, perfectly illustrated with the long exposure. Simply it is an artistic work.Cheers. Link to comment
