Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted March 23, 2009 This was an incredible day of back-country powder skiing in Washington's North Cascades near Stevens Pass. It snowed hard all day, so I was glad I had the accessory lens tube with a lens hood on that to protect the lens of my G9 from the big wet flakes. Link to comment

pietje 0 Posted March 23, 2009 Great capture Jim, nd fine soft BW processing. Must be difficult these extreme conditions, and finding time and energy to cary and use this expensive equipement. You have to love both : ski and photo very much. Cheers, ... Piet Link to comment
Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted March 26, 2009 Yes Piet, I do love both the skiing, and looking at the pictures later. In many ways I'd rather just let my skis go and swoop down uninterupted, but on deep powder days with high avalanche danger, or the possiblility of falling into the hole around a tree and not being able to get out, we ski one at a time and stop at a safe spot to watch the next guy in case he has a problem, which of course gives me the opportunity to shoot pictures. BelaMolnar 2 Posted May 13, 2009 Very good capture, but I never seen a grey snow like this. Cheers; Bela Link to comment
