Perfume Bottle Abstract

I had to get a pen off my wife's dressing table and there was this

perfume bottle there and....well...the camera was close by.

Nice abstract work!

I like the colors, very rich, the image is also very busy and confusing.

I would consider tilting it to get some diagonals going from far corner to far corner.

Might add to aestheics of composition.

Very fun image and I would never guess the subject.

I'll give tilting the subject a try. I agree..diagonals could prove very effective. Thanks very much for the suggestion as it does help me see better "photographically". And thanks all for the nice comments!!

You're a true photographer when you are doing one thing and suddenly "see" a neat shot, and stop to take the shot too!! This is delightful....wonderful colors and pattern.

I'm always keeping my eyes peeled for potential photographs....whether consciously or unconsciously. I like taking the photo and processing it as best I can on picasa 3 and then trying to see how I could have made it better. Lotsa fun for me.

Warren, this one also really appeals to my sense of asthetics. It looks like a really interesting peice of hand woven multi-demensional fabric. The colours and textures are wonderful.

Wonderful these splashes of colour. Some of these are really in a style of their own. I love this one.
