marcogarrone 0 Posted February 16, 2009 wieslaw, this is a very good shot, and not an easy one to perform, with a very clever exposure. It coveys a sense of motion and consequently of life. compliments. Marco Link to comment
andrea-de-bonis 6 Posted February 16, 2009 this one is different from others tunnels we see often. for the light, that comes in sweetly, and for the opened door that gives the limit. and the exp time make the pic alive. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted February 16, 2009 This is one of your most dramatic images. A number of elements make it work so well: the subtle textures of the tunnel floor, the motion of the subjects, the effective gray tonality outside the tunnel, just to mention a few. You are a brilliant photographer and mentor. My best, michael (And thanks....................) Link to comment

human images 4 Posted March 25, 2009 The grammar of ‘praise’ becomes banal with overuse, so sometimes I refrained from using it and say to myself that I’ll eventually return to the picture when and if indeed I may have something meaningful to say to the artist, something that avoids the predictable ‘wonderful’… and ‘how terrific’… ‘this is absolutely marvelous’ or maybe ‘what a classic perspective, composed and lighted with an old world sensibility’, or still ’this is a picture that pulls me into its atmosphere immediately upon first seeing it’, etc…etc… So please excuse me Wieslaw - I’m back here, yes, but alas, unfortunately, I still have nothing to say! But in time I’ll be back and I'll then try, once more, to pay adequate tribute. Be well, Carlos Link to comment

Your visit here in itself is a great honor for me, any praise or tribute could really go to my head:-}. Thank you once again for being here, always appreciate your sincere and honest critiques. With my best regards to you -wm Link to comment
