I think this works very well. I am reminded of your other recent upload of the same dance. All the elements meld together. As pretty as this girls face is, I am most drawn to the left side of the frame where the mystery and the magic seems deepest.

The motion, light, and her expression marry into quiet, exuberant joy and delicacy. My eyes remain fixed on her smile and on her eyes. I like the subtlety.

Gord, thanks again, The black nets are very present in that dance and on the dancers. So the contrast is showing it.

Paula,Jose and Joe, thanks for your nice evaluation.

Linda, Jim , Roger, Donna, and Darko, thanks as well for your nice impression.

To all of you, My best hopes for peace in the coming new year.

Your title says it all. The overall effect of this photograph indeed is transparency, not only of the veil, but also of the woman's features and emotions. I think this shot is absolutely stunning. You've done well, my friend.

My very best wishes for a happy, healthy, safe, and peaceful new year . . .

Pnina, Very good rendition. Let us all smile like this lady in 2009. Let Light be poured on all the earth and Peace inhabit every heart.SHALOM!

Ethereal is the word that comes to mind here. If the woman had had a more serious expression, it would be ghostlike. Quite lovely.

This is a wondrous image, Pnina. How you managed to capture the detail of the facial features amidst all that motion I will never know.

The hair at lower left is wonderful as well.

Amal, thanks, We hope for peace, but you need" two for a tango", it is so sad but India knows the taste of crazy terror ...

Shalom to you too my friend.

Shuki, glad to see you, I hope and pray for peace. Thanks for your feedback.
