bosshogg 4 Posted October 25, 2008 Very nice the way almost nobody seems to notice the wayward photogrpher observing so many disconnected bodies in close proximity. The man sings, and nobody seemingly cares. Some tune out with their ipod, some with their reading, some close their eyes and imagine a different paradise. The accordion player no doubt is on the job. The others just left one or are headed toward it. And not so happily it would seem. Link to comment
blue-olympus 0 Posted October 25, 2008 Ahh a glimpse of the "Human Jungle", all in their own little world. Brave shot Marjorie..You did very well again....Regards Link to comment

lizweisiger 0 Posted October 25, 2008 Wonderful shot. Wonderful study in human nature - nobody cares what you're doing! ( Still, I bet you like to live dangerously). Great capture. Link to comment
squirrelman 0 Posted October 25, 2008 The main problem for me with this image is the angle. The fellow with the accordian is the most interesting element, but he is being lost in the background. I also thing shooting more from the middle of the train may have helped, assuming you could do so without anyone noticing. The lower parts of the image could also use some brightening. f1_young 0 Posted October 26, 2008 This shot really hits, in B&W, the essence of a train full of strangers. The shot is great and well-executed. I just hope the accordion player was in tune. Link to comment

hus 0 Posted October 26, 2008 The composition, according to me, worked well Marjorie. The picture shows that all the people here who all look knock out were ignorant of what you did. They just couldnt be bothered. The same thing for the musician as well. A picture showing modern life. Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted October 27, 2008 Marjorie, this one has to be seen large, it helps see all the details, the diagonal angle is well taken, and the details and light are fine. looks very natural piece of everyday life, probably not so easy to shoot in this place.... Link to comment
nachosaezdeugarte 0 Posted October 27, 2008 Great documentary, Marjorie. Regards. :-) Link to comment
steve b 0 Posted November 30, 2008 Excellent. You were able to get good DOF and maintain the sharpness under low light on a moving (?) train. Not easy. Link to comment
