laurentlacoste 0 Posted August 7, 2008 Wonderful, Giuseppe. Very elegant, classic image. Composition and treatment are just perfect. This sparkling B&W is a sight to see and the shadow a great addition. It makes me think of the masters of the 40S and 50s with their Rolleis and Leicas M. Bravo! Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted August 7, 2008 I really like the way you chose to compose the image....besides that, this is obviously a great B&W work.....and yes, the shadow ads a lot of "flavor to it" But what I find really amazing, is that in your picture, San Pietro seems to be completely deserted; which from the time that I visited, seems to me an almost impossible thing to happen, even at the earliest hours. giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted August 12, 2008 comments and rates. This one was shot very early on Sunday morning, and it was intended to be a "personal" souvenir of a good photographic day (I had shot a few minutes before the "penitent" one and the back-lit Clemens X's Fountain). To show Rome like a deserted town is one of the most difficult assignements: you have to get up very early and to have a great patience. Thanks again, Giuseppe Link to comment
