This photo is beautiful by its composition and originality. I love the four circles made by the rows. The trail of mini waves behind the canoe is awesome as well. Nice job.

A classic subject from a skiff rower, seem like, it is posterized, but very nicely done. Bravo. And welcome to PN.

Fantastic. Well seen and captured. Simetry works very well on this composition. I enjoy the dense dark gray ofthe water at the foregroundas it provides a kind of abstract feel. Excelent start. Regards.

Beautiful composition, fine timing, like very much the BW tones. My only criticism/taste-remark relates to the angle, too high probably, resulting in a burned white on the skiff surface. Not essential.

I have some pictures of insects on the surface of a lake. This is an enlarged version..Beautiful.

Excellent image.  The thumbnail reminds me of those little insects that hang out on top of the water in small creeks and ponds...as kids, we used to call them "water skeeters".  Nicely done.

Great composition and use of black & white.  The ripples in the water at the top and lack of movement at the bottom enhance the feeling of the the boat's travel through the water.  I like it a lot.
