odama 0 Posted May 3, 2008 Excellent work, we feel the movement to the right, from the circular elements, horizon shape, the clouds, the sun at the right side, and at last the bird feeling the gentle wind that comes from the left side, all makes a very nice image, congrats Jose Link to comment
amirali 1 Posted May 3, 2008 This is a HDR I think, but the sky and the ground are not come together well. the angle on the light on the ground is different from the angle of the light on the clouds. I think this sky does not belongs to this location. However this is not important that the sky belongs to where. the Important thing is you photo feels a little unnatural and this is important. odama 0 Posted May 3, 2008 I think this is the effect made by using a polarizing filter not HDR... the light on the clouds near the central horizon, below the blue sky, matches the right solar position. Not mentioning the light on bird's back...The deep blue on the top is typical of polarizing effect, and it helps cutting an overexposal of the photo bottom part. Link to comment

lex_photo 0 Posted May 3, 2008 this is wonderful. I love the detail that can be seen both in the clouds and the bale of hay. This is a wonderful photo. Thanks for sharing - Lex Link to comment
raybrizzi 0 Posted May 3, 2008 Outstanding. The curves echo the haystacks and make it much more dramatic than the standard flat horizon. Color is well done also. Yes, I agree, Jose... my guess would be a polarizer, not digital manipulation. Both parts of the picture have that look. This is the classic shot where a polarizer makes the drama Link to comment

balev 0 Posted May 4, 2008 Thank you all for the nice words - I'm glad you like the photo. The dark part of the sky is indeed an effect of the polarize (no HDR here). Link to comment
wedeko 0 Posted May 4, 2008 Very interesting shot with very fine colors! Love the detail of the bird and the waves in the landscape. Very well done! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 5, 2008 Very interesting photo. I don't believe this is the real sky behind this foreground, although I cannot explain why. It doesn't feel right somehow. I like the colors and details in the foreground. Also the bird gives a nice touch to it. Regards, Jeroen Link to comment
kmuru 0 Posted May 6, 2008 Great job here. colours hace come out really pretty as well. and the bird seals it for this picture. great timing Link to comment
pankaj purohit 1 Posted May 30, 2008 Nice shot....! Balev. ground and sky colors are great. THis is a nice photograph to see again n again, but I think some improovements can be done if the crow can sit again as we want... Lets talk about... I think this grass bundle should have been near to some more bundles so the perspective would have been more interesting. Link to comment
burakertem 0 Posted November 26, 2010 This looks very surrealistic, like a painting from Magritte. Great photo. Regards, Burak Link to comment
