alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted January 29, 2008 Wonderfully dramatic. I would have corrected the slight tilt on the railing but that's a minor point. Excellent! Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
aginbyte 0 Posted January 29, 2008 ... expect Depardieu and Adjani to come out of the door looking for a cab. Lovely soft palette. Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted January 29, 2008 I can sense the moist air oozing from this scene on my skin. Turns me on romantic mood, this is what Parisian scene is supposed to be. The blackness of the FG railing and those tiny sharp highlights add nice contrast, sense of presence, being there, to this dreamy scene. Simply lovely, charming. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted January 29, 2008 I am turning as green with envy as that stanchion in your last image. You've just captured such a mood here. And, of course, you are the king of neon. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 30, 2008 Three distinct pieces, all of them good. This again plays a graphic shape against I slightly misty background to wonderful affect. The colors....well, you're the man, but here I especially love the reflected light from the neon signs on the paving stones. Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted January 30, 2008 Alberta: thank you very much for your kind comment. I think you're right about the tilting railing. Basically, I made a compromise and finally settled to get the wall on the right side straighter. Dennis: thank you so much for stopping by and commenting on my Fontenay picture. I see we share the same interest in history and old Abbeys, cathedrals and churches. I have plenty of architecture shots I've never posted so far. Markku: thanks for inspiring me. Your beautiful night shots made me feel like going out in the evening again. David, thank you so much. I'm glad you like these. I can tell you I've just been very impressed by your lastest postings. Great shots. Joseph: thank you very much. It's been a pleasure having you here lately. Jack: thanks. There was a lot of fog yesterday evening in town so I grabbed the camera for some more classical shots. I'm glad you like'em. Link to comment

laurent_jaussi 0 Posted April 23, 2008 I missed this one the first round...superb colors and misty mood Laurent...it's both modern and vintage (the neon letter graphism)...I really appreciate how the front barrier offers a subjective PoV...superb... Link to comment
