lizweisiger 0 Posted December 20, 2007 Bill asked for it in color. What do you all think? Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted December 20, 2007 Oh, Liz, you've done it now. Now I have to wander the earth for forty years to try to find something to match this. --Lannie Link to comment
godfather 0 Posted December 20, 2007 Colour is better. This pale look really fits for this image. Link to comment
peternientied 0 Posted December 20, 2007 You have created a nice mood and a very good pale colour. Perhaps the lighter part of the front wall could be more or less the same as the rest of the walls I think. regards Peter Link to comment
jcpopper 0 Posted December 21, 2007 A fine "painterly" treatment and composition. Very nice! Regards... Link to comment
emilia_pylkk_nen 0 Posted December 21, 2007 I think that this might be even little better that B/W version, but i like both! Only thing what bothering me is that chimney because it is not whole. Thank you for sharing thsi picture!Best regards -Emilia :D Link to comment

bosshogg 4 Posted December 23, 2007 This has a wonderful warm look to it even if it is a "dead" residence. The muted color palette is extremely well handled. Nice work. Link to comment

gordonjb 10,860 Posted December 29, 2007 I love the narrow pastel palette and the soft water colour look. I have no idea how you achieved this treatment but it certainly works very well, and is perfectly suited to your subject matter. I like the tight crop on the building it leaves a cloying sense which is added to by the branch leaning into the frame on the left side. I used to explore an old abandoned farm house which looked remarkable like this one when I was a young boy, this stirs up fond memories for me. Link to comment
