mnigro 0 Posted September 4, 2007 This is an excellent image. Very soothing. Only thing I would do is crop 25% from the top because the upper left corner is washed out and has no texture from the clouds. The other reason is balance. Too much sky distracts the viewer from the landscape below. Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted September 5, 2007 It is a perfect artistic image, (!!!) no cropping required, the lighter sky at the top end the darker island is ad a dramatization and real feeling of the morning effect. Real painterly. photographically, technically perfect and artistically perfect is a two different things. Most of the time people like to see details, witch is not always necessary. No detail in the dark area is not always right to be applicable. I do not have to spun fed an image to you brain. The image has to move you, and hell with the "TECHNICAL PERFECTION" as a photograph. Congratulation Ola. It is a soul moving image. Link to comment
ian cameron 0 Posted September 6, 2007 Tis a very beautiful shot I use big skys all the time in my photography and duly get chastised by the croppers. They're wrong most of the time, and they are wrong this time, if the sky is gorgeous include it. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted September 7, 2007 Magical! The first blush of the morning sun. I love the pink glow in the sky. A beautiful composition, so well done. Link to comment
