stanacious 0 Posted August 15, 2007 Hi Guys, this is just a spapshot of my dog, but I liked the composition and was wondering if I could get some photoshop help. I took the glare out of her eyes and the brown wall out of the back ground. Should I remove the black chair and make it all black, or reduce the glare on the chair? One other thing is. The original raw photo is tack sharp on her face, but I seem to have lost that when I jpegged it. Any hints? Thank You, Stan Swinney Link to comment
graneenie 571 Posted August 15, 2007 I like the black background and the light on the chair, but I think the eyes are too dark. I hope you aren't offended, but I took the liberty of working on it a bit....I lightened it, then burned the areas that got too light. See what you think about the face being bighter. Link to comment
stanacious 0 Posted August 15, 2007 Thanks for the critique. I agree that her eyes are a bit dark, however viewed full screen they seem fine even kinda mysterious. She has very small eys and a very black face. She scares people because they can't see her eyes. She is a big sweatheart though :) Link to comment
graneenie 571 Posted August 15, 2007 Stan, Maybe my screen shows things darker cause I could barely see them. I guess that's one problem with forums like this....everyone sees the photo a bit differently depending on size and brightness of their monitor! She does look like a big sweetie! I'm having fun shooting our new Cairn terrier pup after losing his predecessor in January. Hope you add more photos to your portfolio soon! Link to comment
