Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 27, 2007 A photograph that combines strength and beauty in a compelling composition, Laurent. There's a tranquilty at the center of your shots that I'm sure reflects a growing confidence in your choice of image, compositional skills and technical ability. It's something both I and many other photographers can sense. These latest images are among your best. (now don't tell me these were something you shot 5 years ago and blow my whole premise) Link to comment
kentb2 0 Posted January 28, 2007 Well you are putting on a fine exhibition of your skills. I can?t emphasize enough how well the colors are delivered in this soothing composition. The complimentary relationships of ochre and pale blues are simply calming and harmonious. An image that gives with no strain or fight. A nice accomplishment. Link to comment

laurent_jaussi 0 Posted January 29, 2007 a great image Laurent, very quiet...the strong graphic elements on top coexist with the peaceful sky reflection...nice proportions...regards, Laurent. Link to comment

mark_q 0 Posted August 10, 2007 What a soothing scene well captured in beautiful light. What pleases me especially are those two "breaks" in real thing vs their reflections. Not everything is solid material here. I mean those meshes far right and 1/4 from left, how the sky shines through while up there is another background. I simply love detecting details like these. Also the tree works well vs the clouds, like concentration of lower values. Link to comment
