jana 1 Posted January 18, 2007 Southern Egypt early in the day... Spiritual feeling is in Egypt easy to experience. Just get up in the morning ,look to the EAST (to the Red Sea) . You see the Sun God RA starting his daily walk across the sky... And voila, You get the goose pimples and suddenly You understand so well the old people of Egypt and You know THERE was the Beginning of all times...From this moment on it will be RA , who will guide You through Your journey of life. jan_piller 0 Posted January 18, 2007 This is quite the sun! A very good capture! Was the bird there already or did you add it? Amazing shot considering you have only moments to get it! Link to comment
jana 1 Posted January 19, 2007 Thank You for Your comments . To JAN : The bird was there. In DETAIL section I always write if the image is manipulated. Here I only cropped. I used only 105 mm lense, but D200 produces so much information, that I can crop a lot and still end up with a decent quality image. jana Link to comment

amalsircar 2 Posted January 19, 2007 Very good capture,Jana.Exposure, light, and composition are commendable. Thank you for your write-up. In India, the Hindus worship the Sun God and start our day with "Surya Namaskar" (Salute to the Sun)" and prayer. Link to comment

BelaMolnar 2 Posted October 12, 2007 Well ! You mast have a 500 or 600mm lens or longer, to get this effect. It is great, with the bird. You explanation about RA and Egypt, my needed for some people, less versed in Egyptology and Ancient History. -One of my hobby. Yes, the beginning of time, as WE know it! "Sep Tepy" as ancient Egyptians called. You not only a very good artist, you also a intellectual person, and so, are a very intelligent as well. I admire you talent. Your images can tell a lot of the person, who created, for somebody, who can reed it. All the best Jana Bela Link to comment
