aeaster 0 Posted October 1, 2006 I think this is rather good in the pictorialist tradition. I am very much reminded of the work of the late 19th Century Symbolists. Of course bare skin always gets the quickest notice, that being a natural human instinct. But unlike a lot of nudes popping up on P.nut recently, this first posted attempt of yours in the genre richly deserves the praise I think it is due. My regards. Link to comment
vtennyson 0 Posted October 2, 2006 DADAism is alive and well:):):) Sorry. Just havin' some fun. I like this but her facial expression is what takes it from "good" to "fantastic". Like most of your photographs; this one seems to tell a story and [pleasantly] leaves the viewer to wonder where it started and how it ends. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 2, 2006 Please do not be offended, but I think I would like this one better if there were nothing in her hand. The tonal qualities and the model's expression are way good. An empty outstretched hand would lend an air of mystery, which is always a good thing in a photo. Still and all, a great image. Link to comment
levitysnapsphotography 0 Posted November 4, 2006 I will never be offended by honest constructive criticism. Unless it's about the size of my.....telescopic zoom....thanks for the input. Duly noted. Link to comment
joe-tury 0 Posted May 24, 2008 I agree with leaving her hand empty. I think it is strong enough to stand on its own. Great expression! Link to comment
