Fabulous motion, amazing composition. And a very good choice with cropping (if it was cropped).

I'm strongly reminded of two distinct, masterful photos, neither of which I can remember the names of or who took the photos. But I mean that to be a compliment (I just have a horrible memory for names).

My only question/critique would be if you've considered doing something about the car at the top of the frame. It's a nice element of the shot, but have you considered burning it in a little, just so that it doesn't seem to fade into the edge of the frame (or even just a black border around the shot might do it). Of course, this could all result in unforseen disasters, but it's just an idea.

Overall, amazing image.

this is a photo i like. at the manner of those old masters. the car is essential for the mood and the ambient. Those white strips in the bottom are marvellous!!

Very nice composition with the character at the right place. Well seen, well done. This is really a black and white picture and a very good one, with a good sense of equilibrium.

Great composition and use of light and dark. I don't mind the car at the top, since the general tone of the picture contains a diagonal gradient of light to dark from top-left to bottom-right. What really balances the picture, for me, is the curved dashed white line of paint along the bottom and the swoop of tire tracks leading from the dark corner to the pedestrian.

This has so much done well. Everything creates an interesting balance and dynamic energy. The black tire marks mixed with the white dash lines fading into the white snow meets foot prints meets crossing tire lines again and the heavy top left weighting of elements. Wow. A fine photo.

I whole-heartedly agree with all the complimentary things above said about this image. It has made my day. My only "contrary" comment is the curved dashes along the bottom. That's the only element that I personally (& apparently in a minority) object to. To my eye, cropping them out allows direct entry into the picture. Left in place, they block it. Being the only clear, unobstructed, & horizontal lines, especially so near the edge, they do not balance the image, but distract from all the other merging elements above them. The textured blank black is balance enough.

Two desing elements jump out at me with this image. The first is the effective use of line and the second is the use of pattern. The lone human form contrasting with the myriad tire tracks and subsequently jumping out at the viewer is superb. Great job!

I've already commented but it good to see this photo again. It deserves repeated and long attention.
