sevtapisik 0 Posted December 15, 2005 Nice location. I am attracted to the geometry created by the contours: Jaw line, shoulders.. I would like to know what she was thinking. Link to comment

bruno 0 Posted January 7, 2006 I think you got a tad too close and the nose looks a little bit too big. I noticed it because I often do the same mistake. Apart from this, it's a nice shot and you've got a really good collection of portraits here. Link to comment

Elstad 9 Posted February 17, 2006 This woman doesn't look like the average church goer. A haunting image. Bravo! Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted February 20, 2006 That's crap about the nose. Who cares? This is a great photo because of the combination of model and background. The woman (?) has a faraway stare on her face. The stairs represent a physical movement to a faraway place. The cross, of course symbolizes christianity (or something similar), which can lead one into the metaphysical faraway, which could also possibly account for the distant look on the model's face. The black shrouding the model lends a somber timbre to the photo. It is full of mystery, pensiveness, and maybe sadness. The ambiguity is exactly what makes for a great photo. Super job. I wouldn't change one pixel. Link to comment
jdrose 0 Posted July 9, 2006 Wonderful. Just wonderful. This speaks on many levels. Her shoulder crops the cross so you are left to your imagination. Is it a iron cross or a christian cross? She seems to have turned her back to the cross and is contemplating a walk back up the stairs that brought her here in the first place. Leaving the icon behind her forever. I love these kind of studies. Link to comment
