cliffmanley
I think you found a new buddy, or as Luis would say "girlfriend". It is very amazing the quality that can be had from these little cameras that fold up and slip in your hip pocket. If they are aligned properly and they are taken care of and lock up consistantly, they can produce equal quality to the great 2x3 press cameras and the finest 6x6 TLR's that aren't so easy to carry around. If you have one of these great folders in your pocket or glove box in the car, all the time, you will never be caught saying " I wish I had my camera", "That would have made a great shot", " Did you see that, I wish I had a picture"...... In fact when I went out with my big sheet film cameras, I always had a folder in my pocket too.
cliffmanley
I think I see a Radionar triplet on your camera. Those are very nice lenses, but I have never been too happy with them using color. They don't seem to be corrected for chromatic aberrations too well. That's only my opinion. Anybody else find that to be the case?
Andy Collins
Mark, the quality of these pictures is excellent. I'm impressed with this little camera!
craig_supplee
Excellent sharp pics Mark. The one with all the cartons looks like a fire just waiting to happen. I had the same camera, and had no issues with lens problems when shooting Fuji Velvia 100. Crisp and sharp. That is one camera I'm sorry I sold. Have fun with yours! walter_degroot
ii had that exact model in the early 1950's. the pc contact was wobbily and there was a grating noise when I advanced the film. But I would buy one especially if I could find one with the f/3.5 lens that montgoimery ward sold for $39.95. My younger brother got 2 new cars, all I got was a $29,95 camera. ( he wrecked them both) ( one at 200 miles on the clock)
Lou_Meluso
Very nice pictures, Mark! I like your shutter better than mine. Your lens has nice "pop" too. Well done.
