Karim Ghantous Posted December 17, 2003 Share Posted December 17, 2003 I assume your camera is MiniDV? Or even Digital 8? If so, then there is a FireWire port on your camera that you connect to the FW port on your computer. If you don't have FW on you computer you can just buy a card. There's a bit to explain, but once you have the software up that can capture the video, just remember that you control your camera (when it's connected) from the software, not from the camera's controls.
