marc_krouse
I haven't been able to get a resonse from graflex.org and thought I'd try this question here: Is there a source that can tell me the year my camera was manufactured by using the serial number? My serial number is 487807. There are no patents on the name plate which says simply: GRAPHIC VIEW MADE BY GRAFLEX, INC. ROCHESTER, N.Y. U.S.A. GRAFLEX GENERAL PRECISION Pic at http://www.pbase.com/marc60biker/inbox Thanks.
Troll
I can't tell you the exact year, but since it has a black bellows and Graflock back it must be from the last 2-3 years of production.
thirteenthumbs
The keeper of the serial numbers is out of touch for a short while longer. He will return. If you posted several questions in one post or if a tangent of several responces occured then he overlooked it. Go back to graflex.org and repost a date only request in View Help or leave a private message for him. You get his name by reading other date question post. marc_krouse
Ok. I'll do that. Thanks to you both.
thirteenthumbs
A reply to your request on graphic.org has been posted. Skimpy data on the ViewII is the probable cause. It's post '64 and may have a date code ink stamped inside somewhere.
