joeydaoud
I am a photography student who is setting up a darkroom in my bathroom. I got my chemicals from B&H, where they threw a bunch of stuff into my basket. Most of it I recognized and have used in class before, but I don't know what to use Kodafix and Ilford wash aid for. I can fairly infer what their uses are, but I don't know which process they're used for, what they do, and if they are necessary. If anyone could answer any of these questions it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
alec1
If you are a "photography student", why don't you ask your teacher, or read your textbook/handouts? Also, there are lots of books on basic photography. You need to visit your nearest library.
dfdncithekxlbn8kaglf33
Both Kodak's and Ilford's websites are essential for answer questions like this. Kodak has taken to hiding a lot of information thateven a search fails to turn up, but it is still essential for data sheet and so on. Also, the material printed on the packages is helpful. john_cook1
Here is the pdf on Ilford Washaid: http://www.ilford.com/html/us_english/pdf/Chemical%20sundries.pdf Get to know these Ilford website pdf's. They are extremely valuable, because they are from the factory and not colored by personal taste. I'm sorry. I can't find anything on the Kodak site either.
