andrew_lee2
That's a beautiful photo. Great details---the lightbulbs, smoke (nice use of slow shutter speed), and especially the dollar bills between the guy's thumb and index finger. Where was it taken? beau 1664876222
Thanks, folks. Travis, you're right -- there is a man looming behind the smoke. A whole bunch of arab cab drivers gather around this particular stand in the wee hours, because the stand's operator is an artist with middle eastern food. Lucky for me, he's usually right outside my office, and even luckier for me given the odd hours I keep, he's there throughout the night. Drew, it's on Lex and 53rd. Stop by if you're in the mood for a top-notch $2 felafel at 3am.

ray .
Yeah, I see the man in the smoke too. Not the guy standing behind the counter... The smoke forms a profile of a head looking to the right and slightly down, with the larger bottom portion loosely forming shoulders and an arm. The 'shadows' (dark portions) are even in the right place on the forehead and below the jaw. The guy is kind of fat... ...He's wearing a turquoise scarf... (OK, that part I made up) ;)
ray .
...he even looks like he's waiting for the bartender... Honest!
beau 1664876222
There are actually two guys enshrouded in the mist -- the fat guy Ray sees, and the bearded guy I assumed Travis was talking about. See detail.<div></div>

beau 1664876222
what do you know, I've discovered another guy in there. He might actually be a customer reflected on the plexiglass behind the cook, I dunno, but he's definitely there... This picture has five people in it (unless somebody sees another). beau 1664876222
Ray, that one is seriously freaky... Travis, is Ray's ghost the one you were talking about, or was it one of the "real" people?

ray .
Ooh, scary Dennis.. I wonder about those things sometimes myself. I guess we'll never really know. What about Lady Di, JFK JR, John Lennon....? Better not to think about it I guess...
ray .
I'm pretty sure Beau's smokin' something. I mean, he's the one who was in that place with all that smoke. My guy is real.
