kab
Hello all, I truly appreciate your responses... I recently shot my sister's wedding, she wished a B&W "journalistic" approach.(Leica M7, 35 asph,50 cron,90 cron) However, the lighting was poor and I was unable to purchase EI3200 film at the last minute. I there for shot 35mm New Delta 400 at 1600. I have searched these archives and am unable to come up with consistant developing times for this push. Some references say 14.5 min in 1:1 Xtol, others (unblinking eye) 20 min. I plan on using Xtol 1:1 (my favorite with this film by far) Jobo agitation with pre-rinse, 68 degrees, diffusion enlarger. Any expert advice would be welcome. Thank you! Kurt

john_sparks1
I would shoot a roll around the house at 1600 and just pick a time to develop it. Keep repeating with development time adjustments until the negatives look good, maybe even make some test prints to be sure. Only then would I develop irreplacable wedding photos.
