ultra violet film?

Recommended Posts

I have a about 20 rolls of ultra violet film in my freezer that I

have never used because of lack of knowledge, could someone tell me

if there is any thing I should know about shooting this stuff or do I

treat it just like any other film, also how and where can I get it

developed and if I like it where can I buy some more?

Thanks in advance for your response

What does it actually say on the packages?

I'm not sure if they actually make a film specifically for ultraviolet, because most films are sensitive to UV. You might try a websearch on UV photography. I seem to recall that for color film, the preferred choice is tunsten-balance film, which is less sensitive to the red end of the spectrum.

If it's infrared, do a search on photo.net for the specific kind and you should get lots of hits- fairly popular. If it's Kodak film, check their website for info:
