Or -- any alternative battery for a shoulder flash power unit? Jochen_S Posted March 7, 2004 Share Posted March 7, 2004 Rough calculatin; not tried out yet... Metz offered a NiCd pack including Sub-C-cells as a alternative for their 6V 4Ah Dryfit. Modern NiMh Sub-Cs are about 3.3Ah. Maybe you are able to replace your Pb with 6 or 7 SubCs - try out 6 first. Of course you'll need an other charger. roger_law Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 Hi Richard, Whilst searching for an A200 battery, came upon your post. Realise it was 2 years ago but thought this may help. Maplins stock a sealed battery 6V 4.2ah at around a fiver. Have fitted this in my Braun F910 flashgun power pack and find it works great. You will need to extend the leads from the small printed circuit to the battery and relocate the printed circuit board to lie along the side of the battery.
