jeffdyck
Does the Pentax TTL flash metering system still work when multiple flash units are used through a Pentax distributor? Does the distibutor take care of returning a suitable (and identical) signal to both flash units to produce the correct exposure? I am specifically interested in setting up a Lepp-style macro bracket with two flashes (AF200Ts?) onto an LX. Any advice is appreciated.
stemked
Hi Jeff. I have the LX and have the distributor but could never find the right cords for it! I do however use 2 old Dual-Sync (spelling?) cords with the LX and a homemade Lepp system. I also use 2 200T (or a 200T and 280T) set one to TTL and the other I use at partical strength for some shadow reduction. I did a lot of work chasing cave salamanders and this system seemed to work well for me, provided I was close enough. I was typically using a 200mm macro for this work as well.
